The Engagement Party for Patrick and Grace was hosted by Grace’s mom, Mrs. Zeny Guevarra at her home in Better Living Subdivision, Paranaque City Manila, Philippines last April 4 th, 2004, Sunday at 7pm .
It was a dinner event where Manny, Grace’s cousin who is a chef prepared a surf and turf menu – filet mignon, mashed potatoes, rice pilaf, steamed fish (lapu-lapu), baked shrimps and crabs. Dessert was prepared by Grace’s mom, it was an all-Filipino dessert feast with leche flan, buko pandan, native “kakanins” and mango and ube ice cream and an “engagement” cake from Grace’s sister and family.
It was an intimate engagement party with around 50 guests, mostly family and close friends to celebrate with the “engaged couple”.
The groom offered a toast for his bride and announced the date of the wedding to everyone present. The couple also distributed the Save the Date cards to the guests.
